Video guide

Notifications in Compassly are designed to keep you informed and up-to-date with important events, tasks, and competency statuses. This guide will walk you through how to manage, customise, and make the most of the Notifications feature in Compassly.

Understanding Notifications in Compassly

Compassly offers a range of notification types to help you stay on track:

  • Competency status change: informs you when a new competency has been assigned to you, or there has been a change in status to that competency
  • Evidence or marking: alerts you to complete assigned tasks, provide evidence, or mark  competencies submitted by your supervisees
  • Competency late or due soon: notifies you when a competency is about to expire; has already expired; or is nearing its due date.

Managing Notification Settings

To access and change your Notifications preferences within the app, navigate to your main Profile page, and tap on

Settings

and then

Notifications.

You can also access your notification settings from within your organisation. Simply navigate to your

My Profile

page, and tap on the “Notification” icon in the top right-hand corner. Here, you will be able to see all the messages and in-app notifications, as well as access your settings by tapping on the cogwheel icon for the settings:

On this page, you can customise your notification settings. You can select what types of notifications you wish to receive, and whether you wish to receive them:

  • by phone;
  • by email; or
  • both.

Additionally, if you are a Supervisor, you can control and set the Notification preferences for yourself, as well as your supervisees.

If you wish to change your Notifications preferences, simply tap on the phone and mail icons, to change what types of notifications you wish to receive, and how you wish to receive them. Don’t forget to tap

Save

to update your Notifications preferences.
